Oh, don't blame yourself -- if you're seeing a bug then the chances are at least some others are seeing it too. Maybe even lots of users. Maybe even everyone. Software bugs are not the users' fault -- good software should be robust enough to take some healthy tampering, and I would hope that the point of Fink is to offer high quality, robust applications for OSX.
