Hello,

2 problems from some one who realy doesn't know what he's doing.

1) I updated GIMP via fink (update all) and there were some error messages.
Noow when I launch GIMP, it does launch but I get this message:

% dyld: /sw/lib/gimp/1.2/plug-ins/Lighting can't open library:
/sw/lib/libgck-1.2.2.dylib (No such file or directory, errno = 2)

LibGimp-WARNING **: gimp-real: wire_read: unexpected EOF
dyld: /sw/lib/gimp/1.2/plug-ins/MapObject can't open library:
/sw/lib/libgck-1.2.2.dylib (No such file or directory, errno = 2)

LibGimp-WARNING **: gimp-real: wire_read: unexpected EOF

Could I just uninstall from fink, and then re-install?

2) I downloaded a binary of the text editor jove (Jonathon;s Own Version of
EMACS) from:

http://gnu-darwin.sourceforge.net/x86/packages/editors/

But I would really rather use fink. Is there a way to have fink install
from a binary on your local drive? Or does anyone know if theres a way to
direct fink to this server to download jove ( jove-4.16_1.tgz ) ?

Thanks in advance,

Andrew Rouner
