Hi, Last night I did a fink update, and it installed a newer version of libxml2 (which is needed by daemonic which in turn is needed by anacron). Libxml2 is apparently expanding, because it now also depends on python, which in turn depends on quite some other packages. This all seems overkill for me just to run anacron. Is there a way to avoid this? Maybe daemonic can depend on a stripped version of libxml2 (libxml1 or libxml2-nox or something like that).
