hi all

well, benjamins post about KDE made me courious, so i went to get the
kde-sources in order to install, well at least trying to, kde. i'vo
built all the deps, so next step would be a fink install arts.

first error was: aclocal not found. the executable is named aclocal-1.5
so i did a ln -s to it. same with automake which is called automake-1.5
as well.

now i get:
checking for Qt... configure: error: Qt (>= Qt 3.0.2) (library qt-mt)
not found. Please check your installation!
For more details about this problem, look at the end of config.log.
Make sure that you have compiled Qt with thread support!
### failed, exit code 1
Failed: compiling arts-1.0.1-1 failed

of course, i have the fink qt3 packages installed. setenv shows
QTDIR=/Volumes/sw and the files /sw/lib/libqt-mt.* are there.

if this is not enough info i'm happy to send you the full log.

i'd really like to try kde so i'd apprechiate any help. thanx in advance

mathias
