I followed the advice from the previous posts including Martin Costabel's advice to move or rename /usr/local. Librep apparently has no maintainer; I won't post to fink-dev..I'm no developer. I have a fresh fink install: 0.9.12-1 dec tools and a fresh system install 10.1.4
