You've been using 10.1.5 for weeks? The one that came out yesterday? :) I'm seeing lots of reports of bugs on various lists & sites. The [EMAIL PROTECTED] list has been discussing this today, with some people suggesting that the 10.1.5 update might be messing up Fink installed daemons such as MySQL (one person is having problems with MySQL in /sw, another isn't with a custom one in /usr/local -- no pattern yet but enough to get my attention), custom made user account (such as, again, mysql), etc. I upgraded before going to work this morning, and it seemed to go okay. The reboot seemed to take a long time, but once the system came back up I didn't see anything abnormal, and I'm still able to ssh in as usual. If anything has gone wrong, I haven't seen it yet, personally... -- Chris Devers [EMAIL PROTECTED] Systems Administrator, Unix advertising systems, Boston.com _______________________________________________________________ Don't miss the 2002 Sprint PCS Application Developer's Conference August 25-28 in Las Vegas -- http://devcon.sprintpcs.com/adp/index.cfm _______________________________________________ Fink-users mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/fink-users
