Well, I rebuilt it and all was fine. Librep_0.14.6 finally installed. I did follow William's (Thanks, William) advice to use the binary and then I just manually installed each pkg for bundle-gnome and then for whatever reason I was able to update librep. I posted a while back that I had XonX's XFree86 installed, got rid of it and was unable to install Fink's xfree due to: Makefile.proto:1: *** missing separator. Stop. gnumake[1]: *** [depend.bootstrap] Error 2 make: *** [World] Error 2 ### execution of make failed, exit code 2 Failed: compiling xfree86-base-4.2.0-5 failed Help from Jean-Fran�ois, Chris Devers and pkg maintainer Jeff W. was to no avail (Thanks anyways, men!). So I moved /sw off the drive, reinstalled fink and voila...same damn error. I have no clue if xonx caused that problem or if it was my system... I'd been meaning to reinitialize my drive anyway and this was as good a time as any to do that. Now I basically have rebuilt my Fink installation back to where it was but (yes, you knew it was coming (^|^) ) xmms seems to be not functioning exactly right. The preamp, eq and plugins don't work. The rest seem fine. I *have* rebuilt xmms.
