This one I'm not sure about...  The only thing I changed about the build
was to get rid of some dylibs that shouldn't have been... (like...:)

This is intentional.  libXinerama.dylib and libXv.dylib having existed was
a bug.  The XFree86 folks discourage building those as dylibs because their
APIs change so frequently.  That is why the announcement of the new KDE
packages made note of needing to rebuild.

Upgrade your KDE to the new packages.  They no longer depend on it.
