Personal opinion: I like gnome. Does what I want and it saves directly to PDF if you want (versus using ps2pdf). I've used it once a week for some basic items over the last five or six weeks and not had any problems. Hope the feedback helps, Brandon Potter P.S.-As far as your actual problem-I have no clue :)
