Just as an FYI, Fink list : 30 seconds Fink selfupdate-cvs : 4 min, 20 seconds (no packages to install) Hmmm, maybe code optimization for 10.2 hurts older systems? I believe I read a posting earlier that 0.10.0-1 was supposed to work okay on 10.2, but I may have imagined it. BTW, I've got an old G3 400 iMac with 640 RAM. DSL connection. Don't know what would be causing the slowdown in 0.10.0-1, but I've noticed it too. It still works, just slower. :) Thanks for all the ports & kudos for all the hard work fellas, Brandon Potter
