Well, I'm having even greater problems. I can hide everything and the window from X will remain and I can't hide it.
I also have troubles with shift-click changing some mode in X. Sometimes it seems to lock shift down, sometimes control. I finally realized it's probably a feature I need to disable because it's really annoying me. :) On Sun, 25 Aug 2002, Martin Costabel wrote: > Hisashi T Fujinaka wrote: > > Sometimes, when I have multiple windows, one of the windows will get > > "stuck in the display," and will show up no matter what program is in the > > foreground or hidden in X or in MacOS. > > > > The stuck window goes away when I finish/kill the Xserver. > > I don't know if it's the same bug, but I have this from time to time > with no recognizable pattern.
