Well, I'm having even greater problems. I can hide everything and the
window from X will remain and I can't hide it.

I also have troubles with shift-click changing some mode in X. Sometimes
it seems to lock shift down, sometimes control. I finally realized it's
probably a feature I need to disable because it's really annoying me. :)
