Hi folks. As a relatively new OS X user, I'm coming up with a lot of questions regarding how to use OS X. What other subscriber forums do Fink users like that are appropriate for listening to discussions and getting clarification of basic OS X issues?
For instance, I get absolutely terrible battery efficiency on my PBG3 Lombard in OS X (10.1.5 and now 10.2), but not in OS 9. Even in sleep mode under OS X the battery power 'leaks' rapidly, whereas sleeping under a booted OS 9, I never noticed the slightest drop in battery power even after an entire weekend in sleep mode... (I have tried the triangle-icon RESET button, as advised by Apple Support to reset power management features, but still have poor battery utilization under OS X.)
