I run and build KDE more than anyone else on this list (for obvious reasons) and I have *never* had KDE cause a kernel panic. In fact, I've only had 2 kernel panics since I bought an iBook 6 months ago. I know a few people who have had stability problems and all of them use "sleep" considerably more than I do, it seems that the power-management stuff makes the system considerably more unstable. This is all circumstantial, but I just thought I'd point out that not everyone has constant crashes on 10.2. =) ------------------------------------------------------- This sf.net email is sponsored by:ThinkGeek Welcome to geek heaven. http://thinkgeek.com/sf _______________________________________________ Fink-users mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/fink-users
