Thank you for this great software.
I've been monitoring the list for information that applies to my rather
light use of Fink (mySQL and PERL CGIs), and the back and forth about Kernel
Panic leads me to expose my ignorance and ask a question that may or may not
be Fink-related:

I'm getting several "Exception: EXC_BAD_ACCESS (0x0001) Codes:
KERN_INVALID_ADDRESS (0x0001) at 0x9a8f94d5" style errors (one pasted below)
weekly, since I ventured into the Terminal, installed and uninstalled Mark
Lianage's mySQL distribution, and replaced it with Fink and mySQL, DBI, and
DBD-mysql modules. It seems from my Crash Logs that any application can
suffer this error, and t's the only kind of crash I ever get (apart from
VERY rare sleep-related system crashes), and I never had one prior to
getting into the underlying Unix. (I'm on a 600MHz iBook.)
Finally, my question(s): Anyone know the nature of, cause of, and/or
solution for this error pattern? Is this Kernel Panic? (I found no reference
to "KERN_INVALID_ADDRESS" in the list archive.)
