I got the feeling it's even worst in Jaguar. Maybe just an impression, though. And I'm not sure it's kernel related : more probably, there's no video acceleration in xfree-rootless, since it's supposed to run rootless, and use Quarz API to get video accelation. In fullscreen (no-Quarz) mode, it obviously uses a framebuffer. I didn't try to compil a plain xfree, to see if it uses video accelaration directly from the card. -- Xavier http://www.freetibet.org http://www.tibet.fr/ ------------------------------------------------------- This sf.net email is sponsored by:ThinkGeek Welcome to geek heaven. http://thinkgeek.com/sf _______________________________________________ Fink-users mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/fink-users
