I have the fink uw-imapd-ssl server installed and configured so
that I can set up a local IMAP connection to /var/mail for
Mail.app to work with (under Jaguar).
The server seems to be running and working, as I can see the mail
in my spool file with Mail.app.
However, I can't seem to *delete* mail from that mailbox.
I have been checking /var/log/mail.log, and here's (a portion of)
what I see:
Oct 4 10:23:55 <host> imapd[7733]: imaps SSL service init from <ipaddr>
Oct 4 10:23:59 <host> imapd[7733]: Login user=vhaag host=<host>.rim.net [<ipaddr>]
Oct 4 10:24:00 <host> imapd[7733]: Command stream end of file, while reading line
user=vhaag host=<host>.rim.net [<ipaddr>]
The problem seems to be the 'command stream end of file'.
Can anyone assist me here? Is there some configuration issue that
I've neglected? Has anyone else got this working?
