It seems like xttitle, in addition to setting the title as the new Terminal title, echoes it to the terminal... where it is subsequently over-written by the prompt.I get the same behavior in Apple's Terminal, but not in xterm. It seems Terminal has a bug in the handling of the control sequences which xttitle generates.
