my first post to the list so here's my chance to thank all the developers who gave up
some of their free time to port GNU code to XDarwin...

I have read in the archive that installing the Gnome libraries with the '2' particule
after their name alongside their older conterpart was 'the way it is supposed to be'.
Now how do I use Gnome2, practicaly? surely launching 'gnome-session' with X will
start up the regular flavour without benefiting from the extras libraries??? Is
Metacity the only wm available to me if I want to run a Gnome 2 environment?

Thanks for your help :)
Rogue

PS: I hope the above makes sense, I'm not utterly familiar enough with Gnome moreover
the difference between them.
