No, the reverse -- almost certainly a spamming operation.  I have
emailed the abuse address -- it looks to me like a legit mailing list
operator with an abusive user.

it looks like they have only abusive (abused and then abusing) users.
Seeing that the addresses point back to a .uk ISP, I'd suspect that someone created this, subscribed a couple of mailing lists to it and is now sitting back having a good laugh.
