I've got atlas 3.4.1-1 and I installed it before I got g77 3.1.

[~]% ls -l /sw/lib/libf77blas.a
-rw-r--r-- 1 root admin 339164 Oct 30 02:25 /sw/lib/libf77blas.a

I'm guessing that I should simply rebuild atlas, now that I have g77
3.1, right?
That would be my suggestion. Since atlas has
BuildDepends: g77 (>= 3.1-20020420-1)
I don't know how you managed to build it before installing g77 3.1 (unless
it was built with 10.1).
That's what I did.
Thanks.
Neal.
