i just installed a g4/500/DP (brand new 10.2.2 after formatting) with
fink (cvs).
works, but the x-server crashes very frequently (like, every
15-30min). "never" happens on the imac or my titanium. oroborusx or
standard xdarwin. local and remote processes.
Fink does have "standard xdarwin"
that's what i mean; the installations (standard xdarwin via fink,
oroborusx) work elsewhere, but not on the g4dp (that is, they work, but
crash).
Did you install fink 0.4.1 or something? That is not for 10.2. See the
fink website.
sorry. no, fink according to jaguar instructions. dev tools incl.
