I just installed fink 0.5.0a. I edited my .cshrc to source /sw/bin/init.csh.
and right there is the problem: as soon as I open a new shell (so that
init.csh get sourced) I get the following error:
Bad : modifier in $ (/).
and it appears that most of the init.csh is not being run. e. g. my path is
not set etc.
this is coming from the original files and I strictly followed the
installation instructions. and of course I am on 10.2.2.
any ideas?
