OK, so it wasn't what I suspected, but it gets clearer anyway: You do
have the package description, but for some reason fink doesn't pick it
up. I don't yet have an idea how this can be, but if you haven't yet,
you could try to say "fink index" three or more times and then see
whether "fink list fink" won't show the new version.
