It's kernel stuff so I think that it's different on OS X. If you google for "OS X" sched_setscheduler (try http://lists.apple.com/archives/coreaudio-api/2001/Dec/04/ coreaudioapidigestvol114.001.txt) it comes up with some people who have ported by rewriting the code to call different functions in Mac OS X.

This is standard, you have to kill all #include <malloc.h> lines or make configure test for the existence of malloc.h. There are dozens of packages doing this.lpcini.c:34: header file 'malloc.h' not found
