I have recently upgraded to Apple X11 and decided I just want to
get rid of all teh KDE stuff thats bogging down my fink update-all. The
infamous sao over at MacOSXhints suggested I just do a "sudo
apt-get remove arts" which I tried but it did not work. Error msgs
were:
sudo apt-get remove arts
Reading Package Lists... Done
Building Dependency Tree... Done
Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that youhave
requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable
distribution that some required packages have not yet been created
or been moved out of Incoming.
Since you only requested a single operation it is extremely likely that
the package is simply not installable and a bug report against
that package should be filed.

sao then suggested I try "dpkg --purge arts". Which I
didand still no luck. Error msgs:
sudo dpkg --purge arts

On that note sao suggested I contact the fink-users mailing list
and post the above errors in hopes someone may know a solution.
