As was mentioned recently in a post about kdegraphics, I am also having difficulty resolving dependencies Re: libpng/libpng3. I was trying to install amaya_7.1-1 after a CVS update-all, but I amaya quits immediately with the following error:
I'm apparently not getting exactly how this is supposed to work because I tried rebuilding with only libpng and libpng-shlibs installed and with only libpng3 and libpng3-shlibs installed:/Users/tmgregg>amaya libpng warning: Application was compiled with png.h from libpng-1.2.5 libpng warning: Application is running with png.c from libpng-1.0.12 libpng error: Incompatible libpng version in application and library gdk_imlib ERROR: Cannot load image: /sw/share/Amaya/amaya/amaya.png All fallbacks failed. *** Amaya: Irrecoverable error ***/Users/tmgregg>
and got the same result. Any suggestions about how I can straighten up my setup. Will I need both libpng's installed since other things seem to depend on both?
