That's the version of Ghoscript, You have 6.01 as I had, but now I have 8.0 and it's apparently a no non for texmacs.

Yes, I confirm. On this machine here, TeXmacs hangs with ghostscript-8.0.

I then downgraded to ghostscript-7.04: No more problems, images are imported correctly. I'll investigate further.

The problem I have is that one of the application I use (I don't remember which) claims Ghostscript 8.0. It's a pity I'm so dumb in this matter, sorry for bothering you.
