I got the following error when trying to do a fink update-all
Internal error: node for ghostscript6 already exists
To address this problem, I tried to install and rebuild ghostscript6, as well as reconfiguring fink, to no avail. Removing ghostscript6 would be very hard, as many packages on my system depend on it.
Does anyone have any suggestions to fix this error?
Also, does ghostscript8 produce PDFs viewable in Apple's Preview.app? Is there a reason to stick with Ghostscript 6?
