I have this too. Do you mean I should not copy the libappleexp and xp/plugin.h I have in X11R6_bak?On mardi, mars 18, 2003, at 14:38 Europe/Paris, Michle Garoche wrote: []sudo cp /usr/X11R6_bak/lib/libapplexp.1.1.dylib /usr/X11R6/lib sudo cp -R /usr/X11R6_bak/include/xp /usr/X11R6/include
I don't see any libapplexp*.dylib nor any include/xp in beta 0.3. Instead of these there is now /usr/lib/libXplugin.1.0.dylib.
I first installed Xfree and long ago.
I also cannot find any /usr/X11R6/etc, but this was already absent in beta 0.2. The fink xfree86 packages for some reason which I forgot long ago, put what usually goes into /etc/X11 into /usr/X11R6/etc and make /etc/X11 a symlink to the latter. But if you first install Apple's X11, you will not have any /usr/X11R6/etc directory.
I installed xfig from Fink not from other and recently and when I launched it the first time it complained my app-defaults was too old !!! (the latest from the day).
I've got also Fig, Fig-color, GV which are defined in /usr/X11R6_bak/etc/app-defaults but I remember it's from another package (don't remember which though).
That would be xfig and gv, but not from the fink packages which install their app-defaults into /sw/etc/app-defaults.
