For the moment, if you get the libtool14 package via apt-get, then dpkg can do the configure stage of gnome-python, I am almost certain that calling glibtool --finish, is unnecessary anyway, but dpkg/dselect et. al. will complain endlessly unless the package is properly configured.

And indeed there is no '*glibtool*' on the machine (according to 'find / ...').
On the other hand, 'gramps' runs and I haven't found any particular problems with it.
Any idea why glibtool is referenced but missing or what I need to do to make sure gramps is happy?
