Hi, If you installed Apple's developer tools, then you do have gdb. also: man otool man ktrace man 1 dyld (useful env vars)

In fact I suspect that simply the compiled magicpoint searches for the freetype library in the wrong place or under a wrong name, .. but no idea how to check that.
