I'm having a problem connecting and installing things with fink (.5.1). It's a fresh install.
Fink can download the package lists just fine, but whenever I try and apt-get anything, it tries to connect to "81", and all it does is sit there waiting:
[Connectiong to 81 (0.0.0.81)]
It doesn't matter what package I'm trying to get.
I am using the Automatic location in Mac OS X 10.2.4, and my http and https proxy are set to localhost:81.
I have tried setting my proxy to both http://localhost:81 and to none using fink configure. I have also tried putting that same proxy info and no proxy in .curlrc
(I'm running squid on my system to provide a constant proxy server for applications, as my system travels between home (no proxies) and work (proxies that require authentication; my system reconfigures squid whenever my IP changes).
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
