Hi,

The fink upgrade has gone reasonably smoothly for me, with a few exceptions that are gradually being fixed. I am running fink:

Package manager version: 0.16.0
Distribution version: 0.6.1.cvs

under Panther, using the Xcode tools. I have generally been able to migrate successfully from the 10.2-gcc3.3 tree to the 10.3 tree. Today, though, I upgraded imlib2 (1.1.0-11) and it has broken my Eterm installation. Here is a snip from the Crash Log:

Thread: Unknown

Link (dyld) error:

dyld: /sw/bin/Eterm version mismatch for library: /sw/lib/libImlib2.1.dylib (compatibility version of user: 2.0.0 greater than library's version: 0.0.0)

dyld: /sw/bin/Eterm version mismatch for library: /sw/lib/libImlib2.1.dylib (compatibility version of user: 2.0.0 greater than library's version: 0.0.0)

Here are the results of otool -L /sw/lib/libImlib2.1.dylib:

219 [EMAIL PROTECTED]>otool -L libImlib2.1.dylib
libImlib2.1.dylib:
/sw/lib/libImlib2.1.dylib (compatibility version 0.0.0, current version 0.0.0)
/usr/lib/libSystem.B.dylib (compatibility version 1.0.0, current version 71.0.0)
/usr/X11R6/lib/libXext.6.dylib (compatibility version 6.4.0, current version 6.4.0)
/usr/X11R6/lib/libX11.6.dylib (compatibility version 6.2.0, current version 6.2.0)
/usr/X11R6/lib/libfreetype.6.dylib (compatibility version 6.3.0, current version 6.3.0)

It appears that the version for imlib2 has not been set correctly, or am I missing something? I haven't yet checked to see if anything else is affected. Thanks for any suggestions.

Charles
