On a fresh install of Panther 10.3 on a dual 2ghz G5, with a fresh (and cvs updated) install of fink 0.6.1, I cannot install Apache2 due to it's dependance on openldap-ssl (2.1.22.23) which will not compile due to a failure locating Cyrus Sasl, which is installed just fine (or so it says).

The same apache2(worker), openladap-ssl, cyrus-sasl combo installed just fine on two other Panther G4 machines.

snip..."
checking for sasl/sasl.h... yes
checking for sasl.h... no
checking for sasl_client_init in -lsasl2... no
checking for sasl_client_init in -lsasl... no
configure: error: Could not locate Cyrus SASL
### execution of ./configure failed, exit code 1
Failed: compiling openldap-ssl-2.1.22-23 failed"

Installing the (older) openldap-ssl binaries does not help, though they do install.

I also, as a last ditch attempt, deleted the entire /sw/ directory, reinstalled fink, updated it (including unstable/crypto... to see apache2) and produced the same result when installed apache fresh, it compiled tons of dependencies, including the sasl libs, and failed at the same point in openldap-ssl.

It appears G5 related, since it is OK on the G4s.
