I manually set the Distribution value in fink.conf to 10.3 (is it right?)
I wanted to install gtk+2, which depends on pango1-xft2. That's OK, I suppose.
I'm offered to choose which version of pango to install and I choose the one fitted for x11 >= 4.3
pango claims to depend on xfree86.
Point is that Apple's X11 (Panther version) is not recognized and fink tries to dl and install xfree86 4.3
I have read the file: /sw/fink/10.3/unstable/main/finkinfo/gnome/pango1-xft2.info
and tried to remove xfree86 dependencies (actually mine was a shot in the dark, I tried deleting something in the Depends values)
Nothing changes and still xfree86 is required to be installed.
Any hint on how to correct broken dependencies in pango package?
Thanks. Ciao. Marcello.
