I'm doing a fink update-all after having done the 'sudo /sw/lib/fink/postinstall.pl' required to have fink setup for the 10.3 distribution.

Thanks,

Evan

When fink asks you to install xfree86, what package are you actually trying
to install via fink? (I"m assuming the xfree86 comes up as a dependency

If I understand the FAQ correctly my system-xfree86 section is

Q8.11 I installed Apple's X11 in Panther but Fink keeps asking to install xfree86.

You can check your install by running fink-virtual-pkgs and checking
to see that the Package: system-xfree86 section is present and the
 provides:line contains x11
