Fink Commander shows Gramps as installed, but when I try to run it from an xterm, here's what I get:
--
Mithrandir:~ mldiana$ gramps Internationalization library could be loaded Traceback (most recent call last): File "/sw/share/gramps/gramps.py", line 33, in ? import gtk ImportError: No module named gtk
--
The last clue is that when I try to compile Gramps from source, the configure script quits with this error:
--
checking Python bindings for sax/xml... ok
checking Python bindings for gtk+... ./configure: line 3790: 0: command not found
ok
checking Python bindings for GNOME... configure: error:
**** The python interpreter can't find the python bindings for GNOME. ### execution of ./configure failed, exit code 1 Failed: compiling gramps-0.8.0-3 failed
--
It appears to me that gtk+ is installed, and I'm not sure where else to look or what else to do. I have tried re-installing Scrollkeeper, gtk+, and python, but none of that helped. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Mark
