I returned to attempts to build gnumeric 1.2 yesterday. I got to the point
where it complained about libgnome-2.0 not being installed, so I 'fink
install'ed it. Running the gnumeric configure again yielded the same error
about libgnome-2.0 not being found. Looking in /sw/lib/pkgconfig I didn't
find any mention of libgnome-2.0:
% egrep libgnome *.pc
libgnomecanvas-2.0.pc:Name: libgnomecanvas-2.0
libgnomecanvas-2.0.pc:Description: libgnomecanvas
libgnomecanvas-2.0.pc:Cflags: -I${includedir}/libgnomecanvas-2.0
libgnomeprint-2.0.pc:Name: libgnomeprint-2.0
libgnomeprint-2.0.pc:Description: libgnomeprint
libgnomeprint-2.0.pc:Cflags: -I${includedir}/libgnomeprint-2.0
Is that a flaw with the libgnome2 package or should I look elsewhere?
Anyone got a .pc file for this package they can send me? I could fudge one,
but I don't know what the contents of a proper Requires: header would be.
