There are two ways to remove fink packages:
1) "fink remove foo" will remove foo, as long as nothing else depends on foo
2) "sudo apt-get remove foo" will remove foo and also remove everything
that depends on foo.
The second one will list the packages it is going to remove, and ask if
this is OK, so you can bail out if you don't want some of those things
removed.
