Please excuse the OT post: could someone suggest a suitable
list to ask this question on: we just installed a new Dell
linux server with fast SCSI disks. And I get an error
(mount: statfs /scratch/ruth: RPC struct is bad) when I try
to nfs mount any of its disks on my dual G4 (running
10.2.8). No problems mounting disks from any of our other
linux machines (ordinary IDE disks, same version of RedHat).
No problems mounting the new server disks on any of the
other linux or sun machines in our network. Bit of a show
stopper, my home dir is now on that server and I don't want
to give up my mac!!

Any pointers much appreciated, mail me off list to save
list bandwidth, many TIA
