Hi, I'm running Package manager version: 0.17.1, Distribution version: 0.6.2.cvs, on a G3 PowerBook running MacOSX 10.2.8.

I'm (finally) trying to update to this tree.
I have installed Apple's August2003 gcc updater.
I have done 'fink selfupdate-rsync' followed by fink selfupdate and fink update-all.
I see that I now have /sw/fink/10.2-gcc3.3 (as well as 10.2 and 10.3 directories)

But the 'Distribution' line in my /sw/etc/fink.conf file:

# Fink configuration, initially created by bootstrap.pl
Basepath: /sw
RootMethod: sudo
Trees: local/main stable/main stable/crypto local/bootstrap unstable/main unstable/crypto
FetchAltDir: /Volumes/Data/FinkBase/src/
Mirror-cpan: ftp://cpan.cse.msu.edu/
Mirror-ctan: ftp://tug.ctan.org/tex-archive/
Mirror-gimp: ftp://ftp.gimp.org/pub
Mirror-gnome: ftp://ftp.gnome.org/pub/GNOME/
Mirror-gnu: ftp://ftp.gnu.org/gnu
MirrorContinent: nam
MirrorCountry: nam-us
ProxyPassiveFTP: true
Verbose: false
SelfUpdateNoCVS: true
Distribution: 10.2
SelfUpdateMethod: rsync

...seems to suggest that I am not yet using the 10.2-gcc3.3 tree?

Other evidence is that I have been told that I need the latest qt3, version 3.2.3-x (in order to use a collaborator's s/w package), and FinkCommander is telling me the latest in unstable is only 3.2.1-1.

Can I just edit my fink.conf file to read: 'Distribution: 10.2-gcc3.3' ?

Thanks,
--Michael
