I ran the command below and the following error returned:

sudo: seg_addr_table: command not found

this has come up a couple of times, and it is still kind of mysterious. Here is one suggestion. Could you try the following:

Open a Terminal.app window and type

sudo /sw/var/lib/fink/prebound/update-package-prebinding.pl -f

This will run for a while (it is like the "Optimization" phase at the end of an Apple Installer run).
