Hey there,
I'm new to fink so this might not be the correct group to post. Please
advise. I am having some compile errors with the unstable tree.
I added unstable/main and unstable/crypto to my tree and did a
$ fink selfupdate; fink update-all
and now I get this error:
> checking for perl... /usr/bin/perl
> configure: error: XML::Parser perl module is required for intltool
> ### execution of ./configure failed, exit code 1
> Failed: compiling gnome-panel-2.4.2-6 failed
I am doing all this because I want to install galeon... If I try that
I get this error:
> Failed: Internal error: node for pango1-xft2-dev already exists
I assume this will go away if I can do the update-all successfully.
Finally, is there a way to switch from unstable back to stable (some
day in the future when galeon is in the stable tree)? If I remove
unstable from /sw/etc/fink.conf and do an update it doesn't seem to
revert to 10.3/stable.
