System: OS 10.3.2 w/all updates XCode w/all updates fink-0.18.0-1 Problem: sshd from openssh-3.7.1p1-1 doesn't seem to work "out of the box". When I try connecting to a machine that's using this sshd, I get the following: $ ssh ldx4.psfc.mit.edu Connection closed by 198.125.178.243 Remedies attempted: I've verified that the firewall is down on the machine that I'm trying to connect to, and that the network connectivity is fine. In any case, the builtin sshd works just fine. Questions: 1) This is supposedly a PAM-enabled build. Does this mean that I need to do some mucking around to get this working? 2) If so, then shouldn't Fink do this, for the benefit of users who don't like to have to mess with Unixy stuff?
