Thanks for the info. My problem was that I had copied over my fink installation when one of my disks died, and I needed to rebuild the passwd package.

It appears that the user 'clamav' needs to exist prior to installation. That's OK, but I'm not sure what group the new user should belong to. Does anyone have any ideas, or am I doing something wrong?

Standard Fink policy is for all user/group stuff to go in the passwd package. What version do you have?


I've got clamav 0.60-2, and my passwd is at 20031026-2
