I tried to install rman. fink says "no version info available",
apt-get wants me to select one of two packages:

<snip>
Package rman is a virtual package provided by:
  system-xfree86 2:4.3-2
  xfree86 4.3.99.16-2
You should explicitly select one to install.
E: Package rman has no installation candidate
</snap>

What am I supposed to do? fink 0.19.2 on OS X 10.3.3.

As far as I can tell, rman is part of an X11 installation, which probably explains why it is a virtual package supplied by xfree86.

On my system, "which rman" gives me:

[EMAIL PROTECTED] 501 % which rman
/usr/X11R6/bin/rman

Do you have Apple's X11 installed? My X11User.pkg has rman in it. If you have Apple's X11, and you don't have rman, perhaps you need to reinstall X11. Apple's installer is known to sometimes be lazy when installing things.
