The Fink (<http://fink.sf.net>) packages are now available for subversion 1.0.2:

<http://fink.sourceforge.net/pdb/search.php?s=svn>

To get the latest package descriptions type 'fink selfupdate'.

To use the client: 'fink install svn-client-ssl'
To use the stand-alone server: 'fink install svn-ssl'
To use the apache server: 'fink install libapache2-ssl-mod-svn'
To use the cvs2svn conversion tool: 'fink install cvs2svn'

For general questions about Fink (e.g. regarding getting the latest package descriptions) please write to
<mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

Please note that the svn-1.0.2 packages are in the unstable tree. To enable it, please read the Fink FAQ:
<http://fink.sourceforge.net/faq/usage-fink.php#unstable>

Please send feedback (also positive, for me to be able to move the packages to the stable tree) about the Fink svn packages directly to me. Thanks.

PS:
There are also binary Fink packages for svn 1.0.0 available. To install these (without enabling the unstable tree):
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install svn-client-ssl
etc.
or use the binary menu of FinkCommander (<http://finkcommander.sf.net>).

PS 2: Some info about unstable/stable Fink packages and subversion:

One of Finks goals is to provide binary packages. But the policy is to only provide binaries of packages in the stable tree. Therefore we need _you_ to provide us with feedback on building packages in the unstable tree so that we can move them to the stable tree.
