All fink packages are described by text files in a CVS repository, which you can browse, copy for yourself, edit, etc. The wxgtk package is in section "x11", so visit: http://cvs.sourceforge.net/viewcvs.py/fink/dists/10.3/unstable/main/finkinfo/x11/ and get whichever version wxgt.info you desire and the wxgtk.patch that was present at that date, and pop them into your local tree: /sw/fink/dists/local/main/finkinfo (creating directories in that hierarchy as necessary). Type 'fink index', then 'fink install wxgtk-_v_-_r_', where _v_ and _r_ are the values from the Version and Revision fields in the .info file you pulled. > Also, to satisfy my curiosity, why wasn't 2.4 put in stable when 2.5 > came around? I have no idea. Maybe nobody bothered giving positive feedback to the package's Maintainer? Or else some of its dependencies are not in stable (gotta make sure stable is completely self-reliant). dan -- Daniel Macks [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.netspace.org/~dmacks ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email sponsored by Black Hat Briefings & Training.
