The next one to load would have been libgtkhtml.20.dylib. Do you have the package gtkhtml-shlibs installed? [Re]install it.

No, gtkhtml-shlibs was not installed. I installed it and gnucash now loads up. Looks like this needs to be added to the list of dependancies for the binary install.


This is a different topic, but when I open a file (that I backed up from a previous install) only the accounts window showed up. None of my previously saved reports showed. On a guess I checked the .gnucash/books folder and sure enough, I see that reports are stored there instead of where I thought they should be (ie in the same folder location as my data file). Bummer, now I have to recreate those reports. Moral of the story: backup .gnucash/books/ along with the data.
