Hello all...
I was going through the latest packages, and noticed the lack of PHP. I was wondering why this was ( compile issues, etc. ).
What I am trying to do:
I would like to setup Apache2 with PHP5. Fink is the easiest way ( but not the only way ) to get Apache2, but with the Fink install, there seems to be no good way to add PHP. The installers at PHP.net want to install to Apple's implementation of 1.x, without anyway to change the install.
I guess my question is ( after all this rambling )... Has anyone got Apache2 and PHP 5 installed under OSX, and if so, how?
Thank you in Advanced,
Hugh McCreery
PHP4 is available for apache2 via Fink--but not PHP5 as of yet. I'm not sure what the reason is (compile issues, lack of maintainer time, etc.)
